MNI (MEXICO CITY) - Mexico Central Bank Governor Victoria Rodriguez Ceja said Wednesday an improving inflation outlook means policymakers will keep debating further interest rate cuts at upcoming meetings, though no decisions will be made based on a single data point. 

"We are anticipating that the inflationary environment will allow us to continue discussing and making adjustments to the reference rate," she she said during a virtual presentation of the central bank’s quarterly economic update for the second quarter of 2024.
