range, where after being on the front foot for most of the session, the dollar
pared back gains late in the piece on geopolitical risks amid concerns that N.

*Aussie dropped from the open to $0.7750 in early trade, the move was in
sympathy with the lower kiwi. The drop proved short-lived, the pair moving
smartly back to around $0.7770
*Regional bourses opened in positive territory and provided a modest risk-on
feel, the Aussie moved higher to $0.7782 before fading.
*Softer Caixin China composite/services PMI pushed the Aussie down from $0.7777
to $0.7765. However, weaker data was countered by buoyant commodity prices,
copper, steel and zinc all up between 1.5-3.0%.
*For the balance of the session the Aussie consolidated within a tight $0.7770
to $0.7782 range
*Resistance is seen at $0.7787 (100-dma), while hourly low is seen at $0.7750
