Poland's Enea plans to invest $26bn (€24.6bn) over the next decade, allocating $8.9bn to expand renewable energy projects as part of a strategy to generate 40% of its energy from renewables by 2035 and achieve climate neutrality by 2050, it said, cited by Reuters.

  • Additionally, Enea aims to increase its share of Polish electricity production from 10% in 2023 to 15% by 2035 while cutting CO2 emissions by 66% within the same timeframe.
  • The funding combines internal funds with financing from banks and financial institutions, according to Vice President for Finance, Marek Lelatko.
