RAND: South African Rand extends gains so far today, a broad base offered USD
against most EMs is helping provide some impetus, beside of course the {tu}
Turkish which is dealing with its own invasion issues and potential Sanctions
hanging over their heads.
Couple of overnight notes for SA: 
*Some economic proposals from Finance Minister Tito Mboweni, included a proposal
for debt-laden power utility Eskom to consider selling coal-fired power stations
to raise R450bn, roughly the same amount as its debt. The stations would then
sell electricity back to the power utility at a predefined tariff. (Fin 24) 
*This has put a positive spin into the Rand.
-On another note: The United States on Thursday sanctioned the three Gupta
brothers at the centre of the South African corruption scandal that contributed
to the downfall of former President Jacob Zuma,
