Spain’s Gas Imports Fell 8.9% In Oct YoY

Spanish natural gas imports fell by 8.9% in October, compared with the same month a year earlier, Cores data showed.

  • Spain imported 36,835GWh of natural gas in October, of which 64.3% represented LNG imports.
  • Russian gas accounted for 11.7% of all gas imports in October.
  • Spain re-exported 7,003GWh of gas, mainly to Italy.
  • Spain’s natural gas storage levels stood at 94.64% of capacity as of 10 Dec, Agsi data show.
