Saudi is pulling in surging volumes of Russian diesel post EU Feb 5 sanctions.

  • It imported almost 2.5 million barrels of diesel-type fuel from Russia in the first 10 days of March according to Kpler – the highest pace on its records.
  • Middle Eastern countries such as Saudi represent key suppliers of diesel for Europe post sanctions as flows reroute and overall journey length increase – pressuring tanker fleets.
