KIWI: The flightless bird opened in Asia at $0.6847 toward the lower side of
yesterday's $0.6831 to $0.6882 range, where weaker NZ business confidence and
building approval data kept the kiwi on the defensive. NZ's Q3 jobs report
(2145GMT) is the main focus for investors, unemployment rate is expected to edge
lower to 4.7% from 4.8%, average hourly earnings are expected to rise by 1.1%
from 0.8% and the participation rise is expected to edge higher to 70.2 from
70.0. Support lies at $0.6818 (Year-to-date low Oct27 and also Nov 5 2016 base),
while hourly resistance is seen at $0.6865.
