US President Donald Trump has launched a scathing verbal broadside against Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on his Truth Social platform. Calling Zelenskyy a "modestly successful comedian", and "A dictator without elections", Trump says the Ukrainian leader "better move fast or he is not going to have a Country left."
Earlier in the day, Zelenskyy spoke at a press conference in which he accused Trump of living in a Russian-made 'disinformation space'. In comparison to the close relations and support the Biden administration and most European nations have shown the Zelenskyy gov't, it appears likely that the period of the US offering its fulsome support to Kyiv has come to an abrupt end.
