LNG: Venture Gator Set for Second Plaquemines Cargo

The Venture Gator LNG tanker moved up the Mississippi River on Friday 27 December to arrive at the US Plaquemines LNG plant according to ICIS tracking for the second ever cargo from the facility.

  • The first cargo was loaded onto the Venture Bayou, which left the jetty on 26 December to head to Brunsbuttel in Germany, where it is due to arrive on 8 January, with a cargo for German utility EnBW.
  • The increase in LNG export demand from the U.S. is helping to support natgas prices.
