DOLLAR: It was another quiet overnight session for the dollar following US
Thanksgiving yesterday and Japanese Thanksgiving today. Week-to-date, the DXY
index is trading in its tightest weekly trading range since July, and despite
the weaker than expected European PMIs and DXY moving to its highs for the day,
it remains firmly within the range. With a lot of US markets not open for full
days today, nothing on the US data calendar and no Fed speeches scheduled, it is
likely to be external events that move the dollar today.
