KIWI: NZD/USD last deals at $0.6879, virtually unchanged on the day, after the
rate round tripped, initially lifted by positive signals re: Sino-U.S. trade
relations.
- Early NZ hours saw BBG report on comments from RBNZ Gov. Orr, who noted that
the NZD has been "remarkably well behaved."
- Bulls look for a move above $0.6900, where the rate peaked today, ahead of
challenging Tuesday's high of $0.6912, while bears eye yesterday's lows of $6861
and a break below would allow them to target 200-DMA/21-DMA at $0.6851/50.
- NZ Tsy's half year fiscal & economic update is due Thursday.
