DOLLAR-CANADA
DOLLAR-CANADA: USD/CAD last C$1.3230, virtually unchanged on the day & operating
within a tight 25 pip range, after posting a 75 pip drop Wednesday.
- There was little reaction to Canada's latest fiscal announcements made late on
Wednesday
- Bears continue to eye the psychologically significant C$1.3200 figure before
shifting focus to the 21-DMA at C$1.3166. On the upside, initial resistance is
located at the C$1.3300 figure and a move through that level would open up
Wednesday's intraday high of C$1.3318.
- Canada awaits the release of domestic CPI & retail sales on Friday, elsewhere
its docket for the remainder of the week is rather dry.
