2-Year Auction Due Today

SOUTH KOREA

The South Korean Ministry of Finance will sell KRW 2.4tn of 2-year bonds today, results due 0130GMT/1030KST.

  • South Korea plans to sell state bonds worth KRW 176.4tn in 2021, this denotes a rise of 1.1%. The sale of 2-year debt is a new initiative for 2021, the sector is expected to account for up to 9% of issuance. Some 30% of total debt will be in the 2-3-year sector, with around 40% in 5-10-year.
