US TSYS: A limited re-open for futures after T-Notes punched higher on Tuesday.
- Initial Brexit optimism was unwound yesterday, as UK PM May's deal was once
again defeated in the Commons. Elsewhere, a strong 10-Year Tsy auction (stopping
through, cover ratio edged higher, while dealer participation slipped as
indirect takedown moved higher), hawkish tones from U.S. TR Lighthizer and
disappointing CPI data all provided support.
- Flow of note included a large option trade, conducted on screen. With >90K TYK
123.5/124.5 call spreads sold at 11.
- Deal-tied flow was also observed as IG issuance picked up.
- T-Notes last 122.27+, U.S. 10-Year cash Tsy yields closed at 2.602%.
