A lack of notable macro headline flow has been apparent since the opening bell in Tokyo. Futures finished the morning session +6, with the 2-10 Year zone of the curve marginally outperforming in cash JGB trade as the light uptick in U.S. T-Notes and marginal downtick in domestic equities supported the space.

  • Local PPI data was weak, while core machine orders wasn't quite as weak as expected.
