EGB SUMMARY: After sticking to a fairly tight range throughout the day, Bunds
are set to close a little lower on the day with yields looking to be around
11bps higher than last week's close.
- Across the Eurozone, yields have generally risen this week with the exception
of BTPs, with 10yr BTP yields little changed on the week.
- There have been no real key drivers today with economic data not top tier
(German wholesale prices soft, Spanish final CPI unch and Eurozone IP better).
- The Bank of Italy lowered its 2019 forecast of growth from 0.3% to 0.1% with
next year expected at 0.8%.
- Bund futures are down -0.17 today at 171.65 with 10y Bund yields up 1.6bp at
-0.212% and Schatz yields up 0.2bp at -0.734%.
- BTP futures are down -0.20 today at 137.71 with 10y yields up 2.5bp at 1.723%
and 2y yields up 0.8bp at 0.056%.
- OAT futures are down -0.41 today at 164.04 with 10y yields up 3.8bp at 0.053%
and 2y yields up 0.3bp at -0.667%.
