Algeria is “extremely attentive” to oil markets as prices are roiled by turmoil in the US financial sector, Energy Minister Mohamed Arkab said.

  • The OPEC+ coalition has stabilized markets with the production cutbacks announced last year, warning against any legislation that might distort prices or disrupt oil flows, Arkab said.
  • Unilateral measures aimed at distorting oil markets lead to major disruptions in supply, he added.
