LNG
Argentina has refused the delivery of a Russian LNG cargo according to LSEG reports.
- The cargo which is currently on board the Flex Artemis tanker was lifted from Russia’s Yamal LNG plant via ship-to-ship transfer at Montoir, France according to their tracking.
- The Minister of Economy Sergio Massa stated on Argentine TV station C5N that the vessel was denied entry due to international sanctions imposed on certain Russian companies.
- The Russian cargo was reportedly lifted from France on behalf of trading firm Gunvor. The tanker has now changed course from its previous destination towards the port of Bahia Blanca back towards the South Atlantic.
