EURO-DOLLAR: Asia managed to extend Tuesday's rally (Deutsche Bank report
Tuesday highlighted that the USD had a poor track record on US CPI release days
and proved itself again) to $1.2412 (NY $1.2407) in its initial move. Pullback
found support into $1.2400 before it marked session highs of $1.2413 before it
fell back to $1.2395 into early Europe. Usd retains a general soft feel. Data
focus today on US Retail Sales data at 1230GMT though attention this morning
also on ECB Draghi(0800GMT) followed by ECB Praet(0845GMT).
