BUNDS: Asia-Pacific trade provided a limited session for German fixed income
futures, with the space sticking to tight ranges on low volumes.
- Schatz -0.005, Bobls +0.010, Bunds +0.09.
- Thursday saw a stronger than expected round of French PMIs countered by a soft
German manufacturing PMI, which hit alongside a strong German services PMI. The
headline EZ manufacturing survey moved into contractionary territory as a
result, although the EZ services and composite metrics topped expectations.
- Focus today moves to broader risk flows surrounding the ongoing U.S.-China
trade talks, with German IFO & GDP (f), EZ CPI (f), as well as remarks from
ECB's Draghi & Villeroy all slated. Participants also look to Fitch's sovereign
rating review of Italy, current rating is BBB; outlook negative.
