AUSSIE-KIWI: AUD/NZD has edged lower and last trades at NZ$1.0396 after
finishing 11 pips lower Monday. Both sides of the pair initially drew support
from weekend reports suggesting that the U.S. and China are nearing a trade
deal, although optimism surrounding the matter faded later in the day, before
the rate eased off post-WMR fix.
- Bears focus on the Feb 14 low of NZ$1.0369 and a break below would allow them
to attempt a run at NZ$1.0314, which represents the lower 1.0% 10-DMA envelope.
Conversely, bulls look to yesterday's peak/21-DMA at NZ$1.0435/40.
