AUSSIE
AUSSIE: AUD/USD last $0.7236, a couple of pips higher on the day, as bulls
continue to look for a close above the 100-DMA at $0.7258 and ultimately a break
above $0.7300, which has so far proved hard to overcome and is growing in
importance. On the downside, a break below $0.7161 would shift the outlook
negative, initial support noted at yesterday's intraday low of $0.7188.
- AU labour market data due at the bottom of the hour after yesterday's wage
price index met exp. Also worth keeping an eye on a speech from RBA Dep Gov.
Debelle later on, titled "Assessing the Effects of Housing Lending Policy
Measures."
