  • Opposition leader Andrej Babis said that he believed that a government formed by his ANO party could be tolerated by the right-wing SPD, even as the two parties have not communicated too much recently. He said that there is no need to pursue a referendum on exiting the EU, which the SPD are calling for, and that the Patriots for Europe faction in the European Parliament (to which ANO belongs alongside the likes of France's National Rally or Hungary's Fidesz) seeks to reform the bloc.
