Bid In Bullion Early Doors

MNI

The aforementioned push higher in gold dominates early this week, with
elevated Sino-U.S. tensions surrounding the Houston & Chengdu
consulates still evident. Elsewhere, U.S. fiscal matters dominate, with
both sides of the U.S. aisle seemingly far away re: some form of
fiscal compromise.

  • Gold bid, T-Notes a touch higher than settlement, e-minis marginally
lower, JPY outperforms in G10 FX.
  • Nothing in the way of tier 1 risk events evident in Asia-Pac hours,
with the return of Japanese market participants after the elongated
    Tokyo weekend eyed.
