Confirming what was already very well known, President-Elect Joe Biden's transition team has officially named former Fed Chair Janet Yellen as Biden's nominee for Treasury Secretary.
- Other nominees include: Wally Adeyemo, Deputy Secretary at Treasury; Neera Tanden, Office of Management and Budget director; Cecilia Rouse, Council of Economic Advisors (CEA) chair; Jared Bernstein, CEA member; Heather Boushey, CEA member. National Economic Council director still not announced.
