US DATA REACT: BMO analyst Aaron Kohli noted the "October ISM headline
disappointed with the manufacturing read coming in at 58.7 versus 59.5 consensus
and 60.8 for the prior read. Prices paid were higher than forecast at 68.5
versus 67.8 anticipated and employment fell to 59.8 versus 60.3."
- "That's an arguably soft anecdote for the NFP number Friday, but one that
belies the fact that the employment gauge is close to multi-year high," Kohli
said. "Overall, the print was weaker in almost all categories compared to last
month and versus consensus, but at levels that a few quarters ago would have
been seen as very healthy."
