AUSSIE BONDS
AUSSIE BONDS: Bond futures tracked Tsys on SYCOM, with YM & XM trading at
unchanged levels at writing and yields little changed in the cash space. YM/XM
trades at 46.0 ticks, with the cash equivalent at 42.9bp.
- Bills trade unchanged to 2 ticks lower through the reds.
- Participants are focused on all things RBA today, with the minutes from the
Bank's May meeting due up, followed by an address from RBA Governor Lowe, which
is titled "The Economic Outlook and Monetary Policy." Traders will be on the
lookout for an outright easing bias to open the door to a June cut (~55% priced
by OIS) in the wake of the recent round of underwhelming labour market data.
