BOND SUMMARY: Bonds are a little higher this morning, with headlines from
Russia's TASS news agency that North Korea is considering pulling out of
denuclearisation talks with the US.
- TY1 is up 0-01+ at 122-24 with 10y UST yields down 0.7bp to 2.623%. 2y yields
are down 0.2bp at 2.458%.
- Bund futures are up 0.14 at 164.27. Bund yields are down 0.7bp at 0.079% while
Shatz yields are down 0.6bp at -0.543%.
- Gilt futures are up 0.12 at 126.79. 10y yields are down 0.5bp at 1.219% with
2y yields down 0.3bp at 0.768%.
- Peripheral spreads are generally a little wider on the day, led by Italy.
- STIR markets have been very quiet this morning with the Euribor and Eurodollar
strips largely unch with the short sterling strip 1-2 ticks higher on the day.
