Bounce Led By Tech

Japanese stocks had a very weak session, but we've seen a bounce in Europe and US futures following tech earning results late Thursday.

Asian stocks closed mixed, with Japan's NIKKEI down 629.23 pts or -2.82% at 21710 and the TOPIX down 43.41 pts or -2.82% at 1496.06. China's SHANGHAI closed up 23.185 pts or +0.71% at 3310.007 and the HANG SENG ended 115.24 pts lower or -0.47% at 24595.35.

European equities are higher, with the German Dax up 88.97 pts or +0.72% at 12468.99, FTSE 100 up 20.52 pts or +0.34% at 6010.51, CAC 40 up 27.38 pts or +0.56% at 4880.32 and Euro Stoxx 50 up 21.04 pts or +0.66% at 3229.24.

U.S. futures are a little higher too, led by tech, with the Dow Jones mini up 45 pts or +0.17% at 26264, S&P 500 mini up 9 pts or +0.28% at 3258, NASDAQ mini up 107 pts or +0.99% at 10901.25.
