China's trade deficit in services expanded....>

CHINA: China's trade deficit in services expanded to CNY896.96 billion in the
first half of this year, with services  imports increasing 16.5% year-over-year
to CNY1.59 trillion and exports increasing 5.6% to CNY695 billion, the Ministry
of Commerce said Friday on its website. Three sectors -- tourism, transportation
and intellectual property -- were the main contributors to the deficit, the
ministry noted. The deficit in tourism was CNY766.62 billion, up CNY132.2
billion compared with the same period last year, accounting for 85.5% of the
total deficit.
