GERMAN DATA: Commerzbank on today's German inflation reading:
- "The inflation rate in Germany rose from 1.4% to 1.6% in June. The reason for
this is the late date of Whitsun, which meant that package holidays in
particular were significantly more expensive than in June 2018. Due to this
effect, the core inflation rate for the euro zone, which is due for release
tomorrow, is likely to rise from 0.8% to 1.1%."
