YEN SUMMARY: Dollar-yen: European open Y110.71, range Y110.66-110.89, NY open
Y110.83, range Y110.70-110.92
*Minor pullback off earlier traded highs (Y110.89) extended to Y110.77
in early NY.
*The dollar received  a small lift, following pressure on cable and rising US
Tsys yields, with the rate grinding towards the intra-day high of Y110.89
* The dollar got an added lift through the European morning high to
Y110.92 before slipping back towards Y110.80.
*The pair slipped further, following US Tsys Yields turning negative,
as the rate fell to pullback lows of Y110.70.
*Broad based dollar buying in a very quiet session, saw the rate
grind towards Y110.80. The dollar move coincided with falling oil prices.
*Consolidation remained the theme into the close, with the rate slipping back
towards Y110.70.
