rises, while BTP spreads are coming down from wides as the week gets underway.
- Not exactly risk-on; equities are lower after Friday's post-US payrolls
euphoria but have bounced off the earlier morning lows.
- Fairly quiet on the data front from here on today, following Germany's modest
miss on Apr industrial production (though upward revs to Mar).
- ECB's Lagarde in European Parliament hearing at 1445BST; BoE's Haldane
participates in a Q&A at a virtual event "Making the most of a crisis: Social
capital made digital" at 1500BST.
- Note EGB Sep contracts are now actives as roll nears completion.
- No bond issuance today. ** Latest levels:
* Sep Bund futures (RX) up 5 ticks at 172.81 (L: 172.79 / H: 173.17)
* Sep Gilt futures (G) up 2 ticks at 135.3 (L: 135.28 / H: 135.57)
* Sep BTP futures (IK) down 10 ticks at 141.16 (L: 140.86 / H: 141.36)
* Sep OAT futures (OA) up 5 ticks at 164.32 (L: 164.3 / H: 164.62)
* Italy / German 10-Yr spread 1.1bps wider at 170bps
