there is still plenty of interest in the Gilt space (though the Jun20 Gilt
future has traded in a mere 14 tick range so far, last up 7 ticks at 137.77).
- Movement in bond space limited despite sharply lower equities (FTSE -2.5%).
- DMO announced syndication of new Oct-30 Gilt, will take place on May 12. At
midday today we get BOE QE purchases for next week.
- We ran an MNI interview w DMO head Stheeman late yesterday afternoon, get in
touch if you haven't seen.
- Final UK Markit/CIPS Manuf PMI and BOE lending stats / M4 at 0930BST.
- Less Friday ratings drama than last week's on Italy, but after hours we get -
Moody's on the Netherlands (current rating: AAA; Outlook Stable).
- Afternoon's attention will be on US manufacturing ISM and March construction
data.
