  • SPX leading/lagging sectors: Energy sector (+1.83%) outperforming, equipment & services leading O&G consumables (SLB +4.11%, XOM +2.42%, HES +2.39%, FANG +2.2%). Information Technology next up (+0.0.50%) lead by hardware maker Apple (AAPL +3.89%) after reporting stronger rev's late Thu, price target raised by several houses.
  • Laggers: Utilities (-2.88%), Real Estate (-2.0%) and Consumer Discretionary (-1.07%) the latter paring losses as Tesla continues to trade strong (TSLA +4.75%).
  • Dow Industrials Leaders/Laggers: As noted Apple strong after late Thu earnings (AAPL) +5.82 at 156.64, Caterpillar (CAT) +5.18 at 250.08, American Express (AXP) +3.43 at 176.56. Laggers: Home Depot (HD) -7.02 at 332.77, AMGN -3.20 at 343.33, Honeywell (HON) -2.89 at 204.49.
