EU Gas Steady after Full Return of Norway Supplies

NATURAL GAS

TTF gas is steady this morning as Norwegian supply returns to normal levels following outages this week. Nominations for Norwegian flows to UK and NW Europe are back up to 331.1mcm/d today.

  • TTF AUG 22 down -0.9% at 173.5€/MWh
  • Concerns remain for supply from Russia following the completion of maintenance to the Nord Stream pipeline on 21st July. Supply to Europe via Ukraine is slightly higher today at 41.9mcm/d.
  • European storage levels are still creeping higher despite the Nord Stream outage with stocks now at 62.92% of capacity. Storage in Germany is at 64.53%, Italy at 65.83%, France at 69.15% and Netherlands at 58.05%.
