EURO-YEN
EURO-YEN: EUR/JPY round tripped on Thursday & last trades at Y128.71 after the
pair added 23 pips yesterday.
- The rate came under early pressure on the chaos surrounding Brexit after PM
May faced challenges from inside her cabinet and the Tory party, with many
suggesting that her Brexit deal proposal will not gain the approval of the
Commons.
- The JPY later suffered on the back of outperforming U.S. equities & only
managed to outperform GBP within the G10 space.
- Bulls need to retake the psychologically significant Y129.00 level before
targeting Nov 14 highs of Y129.23. Bears eye Y128.00, and a break below would
open up yesterday's low at Y127.77.
