BOND SUMMARY: Expect a flurry of headlines this week around the crunch EU Brexit
Summit.
- US TSYs are trading in a tight range. Current levels: 2-year 2.845%, 10-year
3.152%, 30-year 3.333%.
- JGB yields have ticked lower with the 10-year yield trading at 0.132% down
from 0.141%.
- The German bund curve has steepened slightly with the 2s10s spread widening to
105.9bps from a low of 103.9bps. With the exception of the ZEW survey, which
will be published tomorrow, the data calendar for this week is light.
- Italian BTPs rallied at the open, but have since given back most of the gains,
with the 10-year benchmark now trading back in line with the open.
- On the back of the longer end of the Gilt curve outperforming slightly, the
2s10s spread has ticked down to 79.1bps from 79.5bps.
- Eurodollar futures are 0.5-1.0 ticks lower while The Euribor futures strip is
broadly 0.5-2.0 ticks higher.
