Finland's First FSRU Vessel Arrives at Inkoo Port

Finland’s first floating LNG storage and regasification vessel moored at the southern port of Inkoo on Wednesday.

  • The FSRU vessel Exemplar is charter for 10-years with 5bcm/yr of regas capacity. The terminal will not receive LNG cargoes from Russia following a ban by the country’s energy authorities.
  • The terminal is expected to be operational from the start of 2023.
  • The new floating terminal will enable gas deliveries to the Baltic states of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania and possibly to Poland through the Balticonnector pipeline.
