Energy – what to watch
- The latest Genscape European ARA crude inventories will be released today at 09:00BST. European ARA inventories fell back below the 5 year range last week to 53.73mbbls.
- The weekly API oil inventory data is due for release after the close today at 16:30 EST ahead of the EIA data tomorrow. Both sets of data are delayed by a day due to the US holiday earlier in the week. Last week saw a build in refined product stocks with signs that the high fuel pump prices have started to impact on gasoline and diesel demand in US. The data will be closely watched with markets already reacting strongly to fears of a recession.
