French LNG Terminals Remain Disrupted On Strike Action

LNG terminals in France remain disrupted amid continued strike action with one terminal offline and another one running on reduced capacity according to data from the operator.

  • Fluxy’s Dunkerque LNG terminal issued a 24hour force majeure notice that started 13 April 06:00am, reducing delivery capacity to 70 GWh/d, Fluxy said.
  • Elengy’s Fos Cavaou terminal is scheduled to return on 19 April. The terminal has been offline since 7 March, the company’s schedule showed. The firm’s two remaining terminals resumes operations last week.
  • French unions have called on workers to strike on Thursday for a twelfth day of nationwide protest against the country’s new pension reform.
