BONDS: Fresh pressure for FI on the back of the aforementioned BBG headline re:
trade deal optimism from the White House, which is being attributed to an Fox
interview with Spox Grisham, although contracts are recovering from lows.
- T-Notes -0-01+ at 128-11 last, back from worst levels. Yields 0.7-1.4bp higher
in early cash trade.
- In Australia YM -6.0, with XM -11.5, with the latter briefly having a look
below its SYCOM trough, before both edged away from worst levels. YM/XM steeper
still at 42.0.
- JGB futures -54 ticks at writing, but failed to breach overnight lows on the
aforementioned headlines, with the belly of the curve underperforming early in
Tokyo.
