Fujairah Oil Product Stocks

Oil product stockpiles held at the Port of Fujairah have risen to a six-month high June 6, prompted by higher volumes of gasoline and other light distillates according to Fujairah Oil Industry Zone data.

  • Total inventory was up 2.6% from a week earlier at 20.193 million barrels June 6. Inventories were 14.78% lower than at the same time last year.
  • Stocks of heavy distillates and residues stood at 10.368 million barrels, down 4.3% from a week earlier and the lowest in three weeks. Heavy distillate stocks were also 29.22% lower than a year earlier.
  • Light distillate inventories stood at 7.414 million barrels June 6, up 17.4% from a week earlier and the highest since March 29, 2021. Inventories of light distillates are up 41.89% year on year.
  • Middle distillate inventories fell 4.6% over the week ended June 6 to 2.411 million barrels, the first drop in three weeks. The stockpiles, which include jet fuel and gasoil, were down 36.87% year on year.
