JGBS: Futures have stuck to a tight range after the long holiday weekend,
consolidating the bulk of the losses that they experienced during Friday's
overnight session, with the super-long end experiencing some modest
underperformance, which extended in the afternoon as the offer to cover ratio in
the BOJ's Rinban operations covering the 25+ Year zone jumped.
- The BOJ left the size of its Rinban operations covering the 5-25+ Year buckets
unch. The offer to cover ratios from the operations can be found below:
- 5-10 Year 2.50 (prev. 2.30)
- 5-10 Year 3.23 (prev. 3.00)
- 5-10 Year 4.08 (prev. 2.67)
- Focus remains on this week's BOJ MonPol decision & ruling LDP party leadership
election.
