Germany’s THE Books 35TWh Of Gas Storage For Next Winter

German gas market operator Trading Hub Europe has contracted around 35TWh of gas storage for next winter, which will remain in storage during heating season according to THE.

  • This was down from last year, when THE booked 50TWh of gas, because of current healthy gas reserve levels, it said.
  • The gas will be stored at Rehden, Wolfersberg and Katharina, operated by state-owned SEFE.
  • German gas storage reserves stood at 77.25% of capacity as of 4 Feb.
