GILT SUMMARY: Gilts are flat on the day after opening lower, with Italy budget
news setting the tone, and PM May's Conservative Party conference coming up.
- The Dec 18 Gilt future is unchanged 0 ticks at 121.32, having traded in a
range of 121.09-121.38 today.
- The curve is fairly flat: 2-Yr yield is up 0.6bps at 0.803%, 5-Yr is up 0.4bps
at 1.129%, 10-Yr is up 0.7bps at 1.535%, and 30-Yr is up 0.7bps at 1.9%.
- The Short Sterling strip is flat as well, a smattering of contracts up a tick.
- PM May set to speak around midday BST, Brexit headlines to be noted.
