Greenback Little Changed In Early Trade

The USD has had a muted start to today's trading, with moves have been limited thus far.

  • Yen is little changed from yesterdays closing levels, a narrow ¥131.24/44 range has been observed.
  • NZD/USD is up ~0.1%, the pair is ticking away from $0.63 which has provided support in recent sessions. Last printing $0.6310/15. The Jan ANZ Heavy Truckometer was on the wires this morning, printing at 0.8%.
  • AUD/USD is also marginally higher, however the pair has seen a narrow 10 pip range today. AUD/NZD is back below $1.10 handle.
  • Euro and GBP are little changed from yesterday's closing levels.
  • Cross asset flows are muted, e-minis are up ~0.1% and BBDXY is flat. US 10 Year Treasury Yields are 1bp firmer.
  • In Asia-Pac today there is a thin docket. Further out national CPI from Germany and US Weekly Initial Jobless Claims provide the highlight.
