OIL: Having hit a high of USD68.89/bbl on the day, Brent crude subsequently
edged down to USD68.39/bbl. WTI trades at USD64.46/bbl towards the lower end of
the days' range.
- It has been a relatively quiet session in the oil market so far.
- Leader of the Syrian National Army Khalifa Haftar attacked Tripoli's only
functioning international airport, which has escalated the conflict with the
UN-backed government. The prospect of oil supply from the OPEC member being
disrupted has been keeping global prices supported.
- According to Reuters, Venezuela has pledged to honour its oil commitments to
Cuba despite facing sanctions.
