India's GAIL Rationing Gas for Some Clients

GAIL, India’s largest gas distributor, has started gas rationing for fertilizer and industrial clients due to imports being hit under its deal with a former unit of Gazprom according to Reuters.

  • Gazprom Marketing and Trading Singapore (GMTS), now a subsidiary of Gazprom Germania, has failed to deliver some LNG cargoes to GAIL and has said it may not be able to meet supplies under their long-term deal.
