- Spanish IP collapsed by 21.8% m/m in Apr, falling short of market forecasts
looking for a small improvement to -9.5% 
- Annual sales slumped by 33.6% in Apr, following a decline by 13.7% in Mar 
- Apr's monthly drop was led by a sharp decline in consumer durables output
(-51.7%), followed by capital goods (-39.9%), while energy output saw the
smallest decline (-10.1%) 
- INE noted that the car industry was hit hardest with automotive production
experiencing a decrease of 92.0% y/y 
- Production in the clothing, leather and footwear industry plunged by 70% y/y
in April, while food production saw a small gain compared to the previous month.
- The declaration of the state of emergency and shutdowns ordered by the
government led a near halt of production in several sectors.
